WEST LOS ANGELES, CA-GlobeSt.com has learned exclusively that Lee & Associates has hired Brad McCoy as director of the firm's community banking group in its West Los Angeles office. He will focus on advising and collaborating with community banks regarding their unique business goals and value-added distribution strategies for their retail, commercial and operational needs.
Before joining Lee, McCoy served as Greater Los Angeles-area executive with First Citizens Bank. He previously held positions with First Federal Bank of California as EVP of community banking and Southern California division manager of Wells Fargo's business banking group.
“Over 20 years in executive leadership roles within national and local banks has given Brad a unique perspective and skill set to assist his clients in negotiating office leases, building sales, build-to-suit projects as well as assisting with bank-owned disposition and portfolio-management activities,” says Duncan Lemmon, president of Lee's West L.A. office.
As GlobeSt.com reported in July, Lee & Associates has hired a new managing director for its Illinois office, which also just celebrated its 11th anniversary. Brian Tader, a 16-year industry, will primarily oversee recruitment, operations, broker development and marketing.
In addition, as GlobeSt.com reported earlier this week, Lee & Associates principals Craig Coppola and Andrew Cheney represented seller Yarvek LLC of Phoenix in the sale of a 73,377-square-foot, three-story office building at 4950 S. 48th St. in Cotton Corporate Center in Phoenix to Mutual of Omaha Bank for $11.6 million or $158 per square foot. The class-A building was built in 2008 and has been awarded a LEED-certified green building designation by the US Green Building Council. The property features top-end finishes, high ceilings, an open floor plan and a generous parking ratio.
