PHILADELPHIA-The Center City of Philadelphia has a total of approximately 1,000 apartments that will be come on-line in a few months.
The district is indeed enjoying another residential apartment development boom.
The apartment boom underway in the district includes the conversion of the historic Art Deco tower at 1616 Walnut St. into the Icon; Southstar Lofts at Broad and South streets; the renovations of the Atlantic Building at Broad and Spruce streets and the Goldtex shoe factory by Post Brothers; and The Sansom and The Granary developments being built by Pearl Properties.
