FORT LAUDERDALE, FL—Avison Young has won another exclusive property management and leasing deal. Avison will spearhead activities at MARS Powerline Center, a 323,000-square-foot industrial facility located at 5300 Powerline Road in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The MARS gig marks Young's second sizeable property management assignment in South Florida in less than one month. The deal also brings the total square footage under Avison's management in Florida to 7.1 million.
Avison principal Wayne Schuchts and associate Brett Rowley will be in charge of leasing on behalf of the landlord. Says Schuchts, “In order to attract and retain quality tenants to MARS Powerline Center, our leasing and management teams will work together to execute a business strategy that will best leverage the offerings of the property.”
Located in central Broward County on Powerline Road in between Cypress Creek Road and Commercial Boulevard, MARS Powerline Center is 20 minutes from both the Palm Beach and Dade County lines. The property offers 26-foot high ceilings, a 1.78/1,000 parking ratio, and signage fronting Powerline Road and major highway Interstate 95.
