OVERLAND PARK, KS—Lee & Associates has hired Perry H. Trout as the director of development and investment services in their office in Overland Park, a suburb of Kansas City. He comes to Lee after a real estate career that spans more than 30 years and included real estate investment, finance, asset management and development.
“Perry's well rounded expertise in managing complex real estate transactions makes him a valuable asset to the Lee team here in Kansas City,” says Nathan Anderson, managing principal of Lee Kansas City.
Previously, Trout was the vice president at First National Bank where he was responsible for the management and successful disposition of a portfolio of distressed residential and commercial real estate assets.
He graduated from Iowa State University and holds an MBA in real estate finance from The University of Texas. He is licensed to practice real estate in Kansas and Missouri.
Trout's arrival is just the latest personnel move for Lee in the Midwest. In July, GlobeSt.com reported that the firm hired a new managing director for its Illinois office, which also just celebrated its 11th anniversary. Brian Tader, a 16-year industry, will primarily oversee recruitment, operations, broker development and marketing.
Lee, founded in 1979, has grown to 48 offices nationwide with its most recent additions in Columbia, MD, Charleston, SC, Edison, NJ and Orlando.
