NEW YORK CITY-Centaur Properties has acquired 526 West 28th St. in the Chelsea section of the city for $45 million from RN Realty.
The deal involves a 35,000-square-foot building between 10th and 11th avenues that previously housed entertainment venues like the Pink Elephant, Mansion, and Crobar, according to The Real Deal. The acquisition also comes with approximately 110,000 square feet of unused air rights, according to data and public records from PropertyShark.com.
The site, which is also zoned for commercial use, could allow a developer to build up to a 144,000-square-foot residential building. See story in The Real Deal.
