NORWOOD, NJ—The developer for a housing project at the D'Ercole Farms and Garden Center here says it will satisfy the concerns of borough officials over its townhouse development plan.

The Norwood Zoning board extended the deadline for submission of plans for the townhouse development until its next session on Sept. 26, according to The Record.

The original plans for the 4.5-acre property included 43 town houses, a community center and a pool. In the new proposal, the pool would be eliminated to make more parking spaces, and the streets would be widened, according to David Watkins, an attorney for the developer, Stonebridge Manor LLC.

The D'Ercole Farms and Garden Center is still in operation. The property is currently zoned for single-family unit homes and the board must grant a variance for the project to be developed. See story in The Record.
