ATLANTIC CITY, NJ-Revel Casino-Hotel's “Gamblers Wanted” marketing campaign launched last month drove revenues at the resort up 33% for the month of July.

Revel raked in $23.4 million in total revenue from its slot machines and table games, a 33% increase from a year ago, according to figures compiled by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

While Revel had a banner earnings month, overall, the 12 Atlantic City casino hotels generated $297.2 million in gambling revenue in July, a decline of nearly 4% from a year ago.

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Resorts Casino Hotel also posted strong revenues in July, with earnings up 19% and 6% respectively. See story in the Press of Atlantic City.
