PHILADELPHIA-After two years of debate, Bowman Properties will soon begin construction on a retail/residential project at 8200 Germantown Ave. in the Chestnut Hill section of the city.
Richard Snowden, owner of Bowman Properties based in Philadelphia, has envisioned a $30-million project at the former Magarity Ford site. The developer expects to begin construction on the venture within three to five weeks, after the builder completes the approval process, according to NewsWorks.org. Demolition of the dealership has been completed.
The project will be anchored by a Fresh Market grocery store and will also include 17 condominium units on four floors above the retail space. See story at NewsWorks.org.
