ATLANTA-The Brookdale Group LLC has purchased the 300 Galleria office tower in Northwest Atlanta for approximately $63 million.
The Atlanta-based investor acquired the 433,444-square-foot office building for about $148 a square-foot according to Databank Inc. Childress Klein Properties sold the 20-story 300 Galleria property, which it has labeled a centerpiece of its Atlanta Galleria Office Park. Earlier this year, Childress Klein sold its 42-story 1 Wells Fargo Center in Charlotte, NC for approximately $245 million.
The office tower at 300 Galleria Parkway was once home to RJR Nabisco. In 2012 Childress Klein gutted the headquarters space and offered it for lease. Power Plan eventually leased the 40,000-square-foot space. See story in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
