ELIZABETH, NJ-Duro Standard Products Co. has signed a 70,000-square-foot lease for industrial space at 1000 Jefferson Ave. here.

The deal was announced by NAI James E. Hanson, which represented Duro Standard, which is a division of Duro Bag Manufacturing Co, of Florence, KY, the largest paper manufacturer in the world. Duro relocated from another location in Elizabeth to the two-story 190,000-square-foot manufacturing building owned by Templer Associates.

NAI Hanson VP Barry J. Cohorskyand associate Russell J. Verducci completed the transaction on behalf of Duro Standard. Jordan Metz, VP with Bussel Realty Corp., represented Templer.

Commenting on the deal, Cohorsky stated, “We were able to secure a great deal for the tenant in a location that required minimal disruption of business.”
