MIAMI—South Florida's commercial real estate brokerage and advisory market just got a little more competitive. That's because Stan Johnson Company has entered the fray.
Stan Johnson continues its national expansion plans with a new office at 6750 North Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Since 2008, the firm has opened offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, New York City, and San Francisco. The firm hired Brian Buffone and Barry Wolfe as lead brokers.
“A Miami office opening coupled with our Atlanta office expansion provides us with much needed expertise in the Southeast,” says Harold Briggs, executive managing director for Stan Johnson. “We are excited to have two incredibly strong producers like Brian and Barry join our team and build out the Miami office. We are confident that Brian and Barry will be instrumental in helping us grow our presence in the region.”
Buffone is an eight-year veteran of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, property management and financing. Prior to joining Stan Johnson, he founded Park Manor Capital Partners and was a partner and CFO of Compson Holding Corporation. Buffone has worked on more than $500 million in real estate transactions. He also spent seven years in the investment banking industry.
Wolfe is a 12-year commercial real estate veteran specializing in net lease and multi-tenant retail properties. Before signing on with Stan Johnson, he served as senior director of Marcus & Millichap's National Retail Group and Net Leased Properties Group and vice president of Investments.
Throughout his M&M career, Wolfe completed about $550 million worth of transactions on more than 250 successful closings, and earned numerous company awards. He was also a six-time recipient of Marcus' National Achievement Award. Before joining M&M, Wolfe spent nearly 10 years working as a commercial real estate attorney, in private practice representing several national retailers and developers and subsequently managing the legal real estate department for an NYSE-traded national retailer.
