NEW YORK CITY-The engineering firm Simpson, Gumpertz & Heger, Inc. is shifting its New York City headquarters from West 34th Street to Times Square in nearly 12,000 square feet at 550 Seventh Ave.
The firm signed a seven-year lease for 11,695 square feet and will occupy the entire 10th floor at the 23-story, 250,000-square-foot office building, according to the Commercial Observer.
“The company wanted to build out a space with an open floor plan on one floor,” says Michael Heaner, partner of the Kaufman Organization, who represented the landlord along with Grant Greenspan in the transaction. Jamie Katcher of Cushman & Wakefield represented Simpson, Gumpertz & Heger in the deal. See story in the Commercial Observer.
