HAWTHORNE, CA-Team Worldwide, a global air and ocean freight company, has signed a lease renewal and expansion agreement with Ruby Management LLC for its current 17,000-square-foot location at Van Ness Commerce Center, located at 2205 W. 126th St. here. The agreement will provide the tenant with an additional 23,000 square feet, bringing its total space in the building to 40,000 square feet.

Todd Collins with recently launched Century City-based brokerage and advisory firm BentleyGlobal and Richard Schulz, president of with Chicago-based JRICH Co. represented the tenant in the lease negotiations, while Luke Staubitz of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord. “In transactions outside the greater Chicago area, we always seek out a partnership with the best local brokerage firm that can provide the same unparalleled service coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the local marketplace,” says Schulz.

The property is located adjacent to the 105 freeway at Van Ness Blvd., providing a direct link to LAX and and quick access to the 405, 91 and 110 freeways, which provide efficient inbound and outbound access to the Ports of Los Angeles and major freeway arterials of Southern California.

“The location's state-of-the-art infrastructure, combined with its proximity to LAX and major arterial freeways, made the decision to expand here an easy one,” says Jason Brunson, chief executive for Team Worldwide.

As GlobeSt.com reported in June, CRE veteran Andy Stewart recently launched BentleyGlobal, which focuses on leasing and asset management in Southern California with its six-person staff. Stewart said at the time that the new firm, where he serves as president/CEO, will offer the personal touch.
