MEMPHIS-The State of Tennessee, which earlier this year delayed a decision on a plan to lease 100,000 square feet in downtown Memphis until Aug. 23, now reports that the award will be delayed indefinitely.

The Executive Subcommittee of the State Building Commission was expected to announce its selection of where to house 480 workers now housed in the Donnelly J. Hill State Office Building on Friday, but instead now says that selection has been put off indefinitely, according to the Memphis Business Journal.

The Tennessee Department of General Services and Jones Lang LaSalle have been looking for two offices spaces, either together or separate, to handle the workers. The group announced the finalists for the space requirements back in July. See story in the Memphis Business Journal.
