DYERSBURG, TN-Dot Foods Inc. is planning to build a $24-million food distribution facility here that will create more than 150 jobs once it opens next year.

The distribution facility will serve customers in the mid-and western-Tennessee, along with customers in the states of: Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas and the western section of Kentucky.
“We are excited about the opportunity to open our newest distribution center in Dyersburg,” John Tracy, CEO of Dot Foods states. “We conduct extensive logistics analyses on where and when to open a new distribution center and we chose Dyersburg because of the community's support, proximity to other Dot Foods locations and customers, as well as its cultural fit with our company.” The company plans to operate a temporary distribution facility during construction of the project.
