FREMONT, CA-PetersenDean Roofing and Solar says it will soon offer traditional loans as well as solar leases to home-builders.

Jim Petersen, president and founder, said the new solar power offerings would be much more flexible and competitive than what has been historically offered by other lenders.

“I, along with my senior team, have been working with the national home-builder community for over thirty years and we believe we know what makes sense and what doesn't,” Petersen said. “The historical solar lease is outdated, very expensive and restricts both the builder and the homebuyer from ever owning the system, without major restrictions and expense. Our product will offer great flexibility, frequent, low cost purchase options and low rates.”

PetersenDean has installed more than one-million new home roofs and over twenty-five thousand solar power systems since its founding some thirty years ago. The company hopes to dominate the new home roofing and solar space with low priced, best-in-class roofing and solar power systems and has already signed national contracts with some of the nation's largest home-builders.

PetersenDean operates in Arizona, California, Florida, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas and is the nation's largest privately held roofing and solar power provider.
