PHILADELPHIA-The city's Civic Design Review Board granted final design approval for One Riverside, a 20-story residential tower to be built at the entrance of Schuylkill River Park.

The board approved the project's design despite some concerns raised that the development could impact an adjacent community garden as well as the safety of pedestrians, according to The Inquirer.

The approval gives developer Carl Dranoff the green light to begin construction on the project. However, Dranoff says he wants to be collaborative and plans to continue to meet with nearby residents to iron out issues and discuss possible revisions to the project's design.
