NEW YORK CITY-Extell Development and The Related Companies have closed on a land swap deal on the West Side.
Related will trade its development site on Eighth Avenue for Extell's 56-story, 1.7-million-square-foot 1 Hudson Yards project, according to multiple media reports.
The deal will allow Related to press on with the construction of its office towers and retail podium at the Hudson Yards development. The deal gives Extell control of a site it is currently developing. See story in The Real Deal.
