TEANECK, NJ-The first development project in the Cedar Lake area in years secured the unanimous approval of the Board of Adjustment this week.

The plan, expected to cost between $9 million to $10 million to complete, calls for the demolition of several downtown buildings to make way for a new two-story Walgreens that will include a drive-thru pharmacy and parking lot.

The project will be developed by Win Development LLC, which intends to demolish the former Davis Toy Store, Louie's Charcoal Pit and Larry's Friendly Service near the intersection of Cedar Lane and Elm Avenue. See story in The Record.
