PHILADELPHIA-Despite some talk in commercial real estate circles of late of a possible move, a Comcast executive says that the NBC headquarters will remain at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City and will not move to Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reports that John Demming, a spokesman at Comcast, says that Comcast is not moving NBC's headquarters to Philadelphia. “We just bought 30 Rock...the floors that NBC occupies,” he said. “We are not moving NBC's headquarters from New York to Philadelphia.”

Since taking ownership of NBC, Comcast has acquired the CNBC headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and has moved NBC Sports to Stamford, CT. See story in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
