WASHINGTON, DC-The National Association of Broadcasters has embarked on a search for new headquarters facilities as it intends to possibly vacate its longstanding home in Dupont Circle.
The association is said to be looking for space in Capitol Hill or on the Capitol Riverfront, according to the Washington Business Journal. NAB spokesman Dennis Wharton says the association's board voted unanimously earlier this month to consider a possible relocation that would also include the sale of its current headquarters at 1771 N St. NW.
The association has been at its 73,315-square-foot headquarters building since 1947. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
