ANAHEIM, CA-Voit Real Estate Services has hired Ivette Barnett as director of real estate management services. Barnett will work from Voit's Anaheim, Irvine and Inland Empire offices; in her new role, she will work with management, leasing teams and their clients, and develop new business companywide.

Before joining the firm, Barnett spent 16 years at CBRE, where she started as a real estate manager and worked her way up to the position of director with an emphasis on retail investment management. She brings a focused approach on the integration of services through partnerships with brokers, increasing asset value through operating expense review, tenant relations, capital-expenditure management and strategic planning.

Before joining CBRE, Barnett spent more than five years at Pan Pacific Retail Properties as a real estate manager. Her experience includes operations management, marketing and promotion.

According to Rob Cord, managing director of real estate management services at Voit, “The addition of Ivette is a testament to Voit's success in recruiting and retaining top professionals that will further deliver real estate management solutions for our clients. Voit's real estate management-services team is continuing to grow throughout the regions in which we operate, and we are committed to bringing on strong, established professionals who will excel within our entrepreneurial company culture.”

As GlobeSt.com reported in August, Voit's Las Vegas office is continuing to expand in the greater Las Vegas market with the addition of Michael Koontz, a new real estate manager. In his new position with Voit, Koontz will be working with the existing management and leasing team for clients in the Las Vegas market. These responsibilities include leasing negotiations, document preparation, budgeting and financial analysis for all product types including office, industrial and retail. He will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities for the company in the Nevada market.
