PHILADELPHIA-Comcast Corp. is reportedly considering building at least one new office tower in Center City here.

The media company had hired British architect Norman Foster as it works on is potential expansion plans, according to The Inquirer. The newspaper cites real estate sources who indicate that Comcast is considering building a new tower on a 1.5-acre parcel on 18th and Arch streets. The parcel is located a block from its Comcast Center building.

The building could become part of an office campus that would include towers at 19th Street and Arch, and 18th and John F. Kennedy Blvd. All three sites are controlled by Liberty Property Trust, which built Comcast's 975-foot, 1.2-million-square-foot headquarters six years ago. See story in The Inquirer.
