PHILADELPHIA- Wolters Kluwer Health reports it will be adding 119 employees to its Center City operations.

In connection with the expansion, the health care multimedia company now leases 76,000 square feet on the third, fourth and fifth floors of the Two Commerce Square office tower and will lease an additional 8,000 square feet on the fifth floor. The move is expected to be completed by the end of November.

The company will relocate the 119 workers currently housed at its 323 Norristown Road in Ambler, PA to Two Commerce Square at 2001 Market St. With the relocation, the firm will employ approximately 400 workers in Center City.

“The consolidation of the Ambler and Philadelphia staff will allow for better alignment of the functional departments of the medical research and professional and education units of Wolters Kluwer Health to help us deliver even more value to our customers,” says Robert Dekker, company spokesman. “We are excited to expand our footprint in Philadelphia. Our Two Commerce Square offices provide flexibility for further business growth and permits minimal business disruption and loss in productivity during the relocation.”

Wolters Kluwer Health moved to Commerce Square in 2010 and relocated from Penn Mutual Towers at 510-30 Walnut St. in Philadelphia. It also occupied space, through one of its divisions called CT Corp., at 1515 Market St., and also consolidated those operations to Commerce Square.
