BALTIMORE-The developer for the Rotunda redevelopment project here announced on Tuesday that MOM's Organic Market will open a 15,000-square-foot store at the $100-million redevelopment project in North Baltimore.

The official groundbreaking for the much-anticipated Rotunda redevelopment project was scheduled for today. Hekemian & Co. announced the MOM's deal on Tuesday. The Rotunda store will be Mom's first in the city of Baltimore. The redevelopment of the Rotunda will also include additional retail, 400 apartments and a parking garage, according to the Baltimore Sun.

The project is nearly half the size of an earlier plan that also included a hotel and a 22-story apartment building. See story in the Baltimore Sun.
