NEW YORK CITY-General Growth Properties is reportedly acquiring JCPenney's office building at 200 Lafayette St. here for a little more than $150 million.
The Chicago-based shopping center owner is buying the seven-story building from a group led by Jares Kushner in all cash deal, according to the New York Post.
JCPenney leases the entire 127,559 square-foot building and has options through January 2029. The deal is expected to close by the end of the month the report states. See story in the New York Post.
