SANFORD, NC-Tobacco products firm Reynolds American has put seven former American Snuff Co. warehouse buildings here up for auction.

The Winston-Salem based conglomerate had not succeeded in finding a buyer for the properties that were added to its portfolio when it acquired American Snuff, according to the Triangle Business Journal.

The starting bid will be $200,000 for all seven warehouse buildings that collectively have 301,750 square feet of space on approximately 22 acres. CBRE Auction Services is handling the sale. The buildings were previously listed for $1.9 million. The online auction event is scheduled for Oct. 24. See story in the Triangle Business Journal.
