MIAMI—Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened a new regional office in Miami-Dade County. The Hyatt Latin America & Caribbean division is taking up residence at 396 Alhambra, in Coral Gables, FL. The office building is now 82% leased.
Danet Linares and Andres del Corral of Blanca Commercial Real Estate, exclusive leasing agent for 396 Alhambra, represented landlord Agave Holdings, LLC, in the transaction. Other multinational tenants include HBO Latin America, Tiffany & Co., Diageo, Mondelez International (Kraft), and Millicom International Services.
“The addition of Hyatt Latin America & Caribbean reinforces 396 Alhambra's position as the 'go-to' building for premium corporate tenants eyeing a presence in the South Florida market or expanding here,” says Linares, executive vice president of Blanca Commercial Real Estate. “With first class design elements, an unbeatable location, and a growing roster of premium tenants, 396 Alhambra has become the office address of choice for multinational users seeking a Class A location in Coral Gables.”
With growth across its branded hotel portfolio in gateway cities in Latin America & the Caribbean, Hyatt's investment in the region over the last few years has been significant. Hyatt is working to become the most preferred brand for guests and associates.
“Our expansion and brand-building efforts in the Latin America and the Caribbean region have significantly increased over the past few years, with Mexico experiencing the most accelerated growth,” says Myles McGourty, senior vice president of Operations, Latin America & Caribbean. “Three new brands are expected to enter the Mexican market this year, which serves as a case study for our meaningful growth strategy as we expand all of Hyatt's brands across the region. Our new office location will be key in allowing us to respond faster and more efficiently as we build on relationships with customers and business partners.”
