MORRISTOWN, NJ- Superior Court Judge Deanne Wilson ordered on Monday Minnesota Vikings owners Zygi and Mark Wilf and cousin, Leonard Wilf, to pay $84.5 million to two former business partners they allegedly defrauded in a New Jersey-based real estate deal dating back more than 30 years.

Judge Wilson's ruling covered compensatory and punitive damages to Joseph Halpern and Ada Reichmann, according to the Minneapolis Star. The ruling also called for a redistribution of real estate profits dating back to the initial filing of the litigation in 1992.

Wilson ruled last month that the Wilfs and their cousin committed fraud, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty, and violated the state's civil racketeering laws. The trio's New Jersey legal troubles havs raised concerns that they could have an impact on their plans for a new Vikings stadium. See story in The Record.
