SAN DIEGO-A joint venture of San Diego-based HP Investors LLC and Clarion Partners LLC of New York has acquired an interest in the mixed-use Gaslamp City Square in the Gaslamp Quarter.
The companies did not disclose the terms, but the deal is thought to be worth more than $48 million, according to a re[port in the San Diego Business Journal, citing public data. The assets include a share in the retail and commercial parking portions of the development, the Journal says.
The sellerwas Champion Real Estate Co. of Los Angeles.
Gaslamp City Square, was developed in 2004, and comprises a full city block. The mixed use includes residential condominiums that were not included in the deal.
