NEW YORK CITY-Fairway Market has inked a more than 52,000-square-foot lease for a large store at 255 Greenwich St., two blocks from the World Trade Center.
The new downtown store at Jack Resnick & Son's office tower at the corner of Murray Street will open next year. The grocer currently operates 14 stores in the New York metro area, including five in Manhattan, according to the New York Post.
The new Fairway Market will feature more than 11,000 square feet on the ground floor, with the remaining space in the building's concourse. The store's main entrance will be located at the corner of Greenwich and Murray streets. See story in the New York Post.
