PHOENIX-Hillwood Investment Properties, the Dallas-based firm owned by Ross Perot Jr., has purchased 72.5 acres in Phoenix, with its sights set on a large-scale industrial development.
The story was reported Friday by Business Real Estate Weekly (BREW) and other industry news outlets.
County records state records confirmed Hillwood as the buyer, according to a report in the Phoenix Business Journal.
Records indicate that Southwest Industrial Center I LLC, a legal entity created by Hillwood, paid more than $10.8 million to buy the parcel located at the southwest corner of 75th Avenue and Buckeye Road, south of Interstate 10. Hillwood plans to develop more than 1.2 million square feet of industrial space, according to the report in BREW.
