FAIRFAX, VA-The Children's National Medical Center and joint venture partner Inova Health System are looking to create an outpatient surgery center for children here.
The companies' practice group, Pediatric Specialists of Virginia LLC, is looking to open two operating rooms inside an existing medical office building at 3023 Hamaker Court in Fairfax.
The location, now used by Children's Medical Center as an office procedure suite, would open within three months of securing a certificate of need from the State of Virginia. The center hopes to open the surgical center in the first quarter of 2014. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
