HILLSBOROUGH, NJ-Larken Associates has signed five new leases at its 525,000-square-foot Hillsborough Business Center since August, bringing occupancy to over 90%:

  • Tronics World took 1,500 square feet
  • Sunlight General Capital, 3,125 square feet
  • ESS Home Theater, 2,380 square fee
  • Kentrel 1,500 square feet
  • NRWellness, 3,405 square feet, in the complex consisting of 525,000 square feet of industrial and warehouse space.

Also, Yili Inc., a tenant of a year's standing, and Absolute Painting, a tenant since since 2004, are each expanding: Yili growing from 3,125 to 6,190 square feet, and Absolute, from 1,500 to 2,963 square feet.

“We are really pleased with the progress we have made,” said Victor Kelly of Larken. “This recent activity is a certain sign that businesses in Somerset County are moving beyond the recession and are finding it appealing to start out on new business ventures, or necessary to grow.”

The business center has 27 buildings with parking, utilities and entrances for each tenant. There are 18-22-foot ceiling heights and large overhead dock doors. 

The area is zoned for light industrial use, permitting office, warehousing, distribution, lab, light manufacturing, and assembly. Remaining units with 1,125 square feet to 40,000 square feet are available.

The center is located a block west of Route 206, accessible from Routes 287, 78, 22, 1 and 206.
