LAS VEGAS-REISA, the Real Estate and Investment Securities Association, has released to GlobeSt.com exclusively its list of board members for 2014 at the 2013 Annual Conference and Trade Show here this week. The organization is a leading national trade association serving the alternative investment and securities industry.

During the kick-off of the annual conference and trade show last night, REISA also announced its award winners, honoring individuals and companies for their commitment to excellence, service to the industry and adherence to the highest ethical standards and quality performance in the industry. These accomplishments are recognized through the A Champion of Excellence (ACE) Award, President's Award and Distinguished Service Award.

The 2014 board, as chosen by a vote of REISA's membership, are:

The ACE Award, the highest honor bestowed on a REISA member by the association, is given to an individual or organization that has reached a pinnacle in their career and has brought credit to themselves and REISA through distinguished accomplishments. The 2013 ACE Award was presented to American Realty Capital.

The Distinguished Service Award, presented to individuals who have provided exceptional service to REISA, the industry REISA serves or the community, was presented this year to Tony Grego, director of business development for REISA; Craig M. Porter Rollins, CEO of LJCooper Wealth Advisors and VP, advisory services, at DFPG Investments, Inc.; Tim Snodgrass, J.D., president and founding partner of Axxcess Capital; and Kaplan Voekler Cunningham & Frank.

The President's Award, presented to an individual or organization that has made outstanding contributions in their chosen field, in service in local, state or national affairs or in support of the advancement and continued excellence of REISA, was presented this year to Peter Fass, partner and co-head of the real estate capital markets group at Proskauer.
