ALEXANDRIA, VA-Partners The JBG Cos. and MRP Realty will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its mixed-use The Exchange at Potomac Yard project on Wednesday.
The project will include a Giant-anchored residential project to be built at a 19-acre site in Alexandria. The developers eventually plan to build approximately 2 million square feet of commercial, residential and retail at the project by Main Line Boulevard and East Glebe Road, according to the Washington Business Journal.
Among the projects under construction are the Alric, a two-building, 323-unit apartment building slated for completion in September 2014, and Notch Eight, a six-story, 253-unit apartment building to be anchored by a 65,000-square-foot Giant supermarket.
