DRAPER, UT-The Salt Lake City office of CBRE has been selected as the exclusive listing broker for Lone Peak Specialty Centre in Draper. Barb Johnson and Vic Galanis will oversee the listing.
Residing on the 40-acre Lone Peak Hospital Medical Campus, the centre has been designed as an 80,000-square-foot, class A medical office building. Located at 11925 South State Street, the center will have corridors that connect to Lone Peak Hospital as well as an existing medical office building. Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2014.
“It is a major advantage to have medical offices that directly connect to a full-service hospital,” said Galanis, first vice president. “The new specialty center will include a corridor that links to all buildings on campus, giving physicians the opportunity to deliver superior care in a brand-new facility.”
Lone Peak Hospital opened its doors on July 31. The new facility will reside north-east of the hospital, adjacent to an existing medical building. Centrally located to serve both Salt Lake and Utah counties, the medical campus provides direct access to Interstate-15, as well as abundant amenities such as hotels, restaurants, banking and shopping. The center has an expected completion date of the first quarter of 2015.
A 20,000 square-foot portion of the new facility has been preleased and designated as an ambulatory surgical center.
“There is 60,000 square feet of medical space remaining in the center that can be built-out to specifically fit a physician's needs,” said Johnson, first vice president with CBRE. “The new building will facilitate collaborative and referral opportunities among those practicing on the medical campus, providing a smooth and convenient patient experience.”
Lone Peak Hospital is the newest addition to the 40-acre Lone Peak Medical Campus. As the second component of the phased-in construction plan developed by MountainStar, it brings much-needed obstetric care, surgery services and outpatient diagnostic services to Draper and the surrounding south valley communities. The initial phase featured the first satellite ED in Utah, which opened its doors in May, 2010.
In addition to Lone Peak Hospital, the MountainStar Healthcare network in Utah includes St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Ogden Regional Medical Center and Brigham City Community Hospital. The network also includes Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, ID, and Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, as well as a growing number of physician practices, outpatient imaging centers and ambulatory surgical centers.
