Avison Young Expands OC Presence

IRVINE, CA-GlobeSt.com has learned exclusively that Avison Young has expanded its Orange County presence with a new Irvine office location. The firm has moved from its existing office space here to a new, 6,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art office at 2030 Main St., Suite 150, here.

In addition, the firm has added a seventh member to this location, Stefan Rogers, who has been named VP. In his new role, Rogers will provide full-service tenant-representation solutions to corporate tenants and occupiers of commercial real estate throughout Southern California, and will work closely with Ted Simpson's team to grow its tenant-representation practice. The Simpson team is led by principal and managing director Ted Simpson of the firm's Downtown L.A. office.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Rogers served as VP of Voit Real Estate Services for 10 years. He has more than 15 years of experience across two continents.

According to Chris Cooper, Avison Young's principal and managing director of the Southern California region, the company now has six full-service offices and 75 professionals in the region. “Our proven platform and entrepreneurial, principal-led culture are attracting some of the region's top talent.”

Cooper adds that the new Irvine office and the addition of Rogers “will provide exceptional leverage in connection with Avison Young's aggressive growth throughout Orange County and the region. We now have the ability to provide the full spectrum of services to our clients and further our continued growth. To that end, our expansion further demonstrates Avison Young's commitment to serving our clients and building the company's local presence.”

The Irvine office is led by principals Dan Vittone and Alan Pekarcik, members of the company's capital-markets group, who joined Avison Young in November 2012. “Our new Orange County office provides us with amble space for additional brokerage talent and support staff,” says Vittone. “We look forward to continuing our growth as we expand our service lines across all asset classes.
