TAMPA, FL—A free-standing former Denny's restaurant is getting a new lease on life. JSMD Enterprises snapped up the asset from Waldrest Associates Limited Partnership for $650,000.

Erica Waltermire, a sales associate at CBRE, represented the seller in the transaction. The building is located at 6708 Memorial Highway in Tampa, FL.

“This transaction supports the continued trend of expanding restaurants looking for highly visible locations within the market,” says Waltermire. “JSMD was motivated to purchase this property to expand their presence in the local market with a new restaurant concept”

The new restaurant, called The Pacific Coast, will feature Latin Cuisine and specialize in fresh seafood. The restaurant is expected to open by the end of the year.

The 4,200-square-foot freestanding building is located at the intersection of Hillsborough Avenue and Memorial Highway in Tampa. This parcel is shadow anchored by Home Depot and sits next to Walgreens, SunTrust and AT&T Wireless. Other area retailers include Ross, Starbucks, CVS, Chili's, Dunkin Donuts, Publix, and Aldi.
