RUSKIN, FL-An affiliate of USAA Real Estate Co. has acquired nearly 80 acres here that will reportedly be the future home of a major Amazon distribution center for $14,629,394.40, according to a deed filing on Thursday.
South Shore Corporate Park LLC, an affiliate of Ryan Cos. US Inc. of Minneapolis, sold the property to RELP Tampa LLC, which has the same address as USAA Real Estate Co. of San Antonio, TX, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
USAA Real Estate has built seven Amazon fulfillment centers over the past two years, the newspaper reports. The online retailer leases space owned by USAA. See story in the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
