ALEXANDRIA, VA-The Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. has hired Cassidy Turley to market the top five floors at Carlyle Overlook for sale.

The insurer has decided to sell the office space about five years after it purchased the top half of the building at 2318 Mill Road from MRP Realty for $50 million, according to the Washington Business Journal.

The American Society of Clinical Oncology paid $50 million for the building's lower floors and will retain ownership of its space.

The National Science Foundation is relocating its nearly 2,400 employees into the adjacent Hoffman Town Center in 2017. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
