PHILADELPHIA-Work has started on a mixed-use green-oriented project on nearly half-acre site at 16th and Moore streets here.
A formal groundbreaking was held Wednesday for the project being developed by LPMG Cos. that will eventually include 16 rowhouses, two condominium units and one retail space, according to The Inquirer.
LPMG hopes to secure a LEED Platinum designation for the “reNewbold “project.
"There are no LEED-certified projects in that neighborhood or even close to that neighborhood," said Delaware Valley Green Building Council executive director Janet Milkman. "The closest are about a mile away along Christian Street.” See story in The Inquirer.
