MINNEAPOLIS-While Ryan Cos. and Wells Fargo remain mum on the banker's involvement in its $400-million Downtown East project here, renderings submitted by the developer to the city have Wells Fargo's name prominent on all its signage.
Ryan is planning to build a new campus for an unnamed corporate client on the eastern section of the downtown on property owned by the Star Tribune. The development would also include 300 housing units, retail, and a large city park, according to the Star Tribune.
Ryan and Wells Fargo have confirmed they are holding discussions about Wells Fargo locating in the office portion of the project, however, no formal deal has been struck, according to Ryan's vice president of development Rick Collins. See story in the Star Tribune.
