O'HARA, PA-TruFood Manufacturing is investing $12.5 million to expand operations into a second facility here.

The initiative will involve the addition of at least 100 jobs to its facilities in O'Hara Township. The company will make improvements to its existing 97,500-square-foot facility and expand into a second 155,000-square-foot building in the Regional Industrial Development Corp. business park, according to the Pittsburgh Business Journal.

The company, which produces chocolate confection and nutrition products, received a $200,000 Pennsylvania First Program grant, $120,000 in job creation tax credits and a $27,000 new workforce training grant. In addition, the company received a $3.25 million low-interest loan from the Machinery and Equipment Loan Fund. See story in the Pittsburgh Business Journal.
