CHARLOTTE-MetLife Inc. is expanding its presence at the Ballantyne Corporate Park here to nearly 400,000 square feet.
The insurer is taking on two additional floors in the Woodward building at the corporate park in South Charlotte totaling 56,842 square feet, according to the Charlotte Business Journal. The New York City-based firm now occupies approximately 398,000 square feet at the Ballantyne Corporate Park..
MetLife originally leased approximately 340,000 square feet at the park, taking the entire 10-story Gragg Building and two floors in the Woodward building. MetLife is now taking the first four floors at the Woodward property, according to building permits. See story in the Charlotte Business Journal.
