IRVINE, CA-GlobeSt.com has learned exclusively that builder Snyder Langston has expanded its healthcare division and named Lee Watkins as VP. Watkins will focus on growth in the health systems sector of Snyder Langston's work.

Watkins brings 13 years of construction experience to the firm, with the past seven years dedicated exclusively to healthcare construction. His client experience includes Kaiser Permanente, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Providence Health System, among others.

According to Snyder Langston, Watkins possesses an in-depth knowledge of systems and overcoming the challenges commonly encountered in healthcare construction. He brings a track record for successful project deliveries and solid client relationships to the firm.

“Joining Snyder Langston provides me with the opportunity to help grow the firm's already-successful healthcare unit,” says Watkins. “My desire to provide high-quality, strategic and client-focused product was a perfect fit with its corporate culture and values.”

Stephen Jones, chairman and CEO of the firm, says that “Snyder Langston's goal is to continually expand and enhance our leadership to be at the forefront of our clients' building needs. Expanding our healthcare team with proven talent is another step we are taking to raise the bar in this very important property sector.”

As GlobeSt.com recently reported, Greg Sadick, VP of residential at Snyder Langston, moderated a panel on the “How to Manage Construction Costs” at last week's 2013 Real Share Apartments conference.
