NEW YORK CITY-The chairman of Greenland Holding Group, the Chinese investment firm that recently acquired a 70% stake in the Atlantic Yards development in Brooklyn, says the mega-project will be done by 2021.

Zhang Yuliang, told reporters in Shanghai last week of his intended timeline for the $5-billion development. The ambitious timeline would require the construction of nearly two towers a year.

Greenland Holding Group acquired the majority stake of Atlantic Yards, not including the completed Barclays Center and B2, the first residential tower at the project, for an undisclosed sum from Forest City Ratner. See story in The Real Deal.
