NEW YORK CITY-The law firm Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman is reportedly nearing a deal to renew its lease at 1633 Broadway for another 20 years.
The deal would extend the law firm's 225,000-square-foot lease at the property owned by the Paramount Group, according to The Real Deal. Kasowitz is downsizing slightly from its current 250,000-square-foot lease. The law firm will refurbish its offices on floors 20 through 24.
Back in September, Paramount convinced the Warner Music Group to relocate from 75 Rockefeller Plaza to approximately 300,000 square feet of space at the property.
Ted Koltis and Peter Brindley of Paramount are representing the building owner in the pending transaction. Kasowitz is being represented by Mark Weiss of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. See story in The Real Deal.
