SAN DIEGO-Trigild, a real estate firm specializing in property/asset management and fiduciary services, has made several executive moves involving its top management team. Judy Hoffman has been moved from COO to president, Brian Morelan from managing director to COO, and past president Bill Hoffman will be chairman of the board and CEO of the firm.

Judy Hoffman will continue to play a vital role in leading the company and contributing to its overall growth, working to leverage the firm's experience, infrastructure and relationships into building its long-term management and investment portfolio. Hoffman has served the company in numerous capacities over the years, recently helping to take it through one of the biggest growth periods in its history.

Morelan will be responsible for the strategic direction of the firm, as well as client services and portfolio management. Additionally, he will help direct the company's day-to-day operations, overseeing 10 regional offices and 750 employees nationwide. During his tenure with Trigild, Morelan has recruited and developed a real estate team with clients in more than 30 US markets.

Bill Hoffman will continue to play a key role in the company. He helped found Trigild in 1976 and has contributed his expertise and legal knowledge to a variety of high-profile projects. Hoffman has more than 35 years of expertise as an attorney, real estate broker and court-appointed receiver for more than 2,000 assets, including hotels, office buildings, retail centers, industrial facilities, multifamily projects and restaurants nationwide.

As GlobeSt.com reported last month, Trigild has been appointed liquidating trustee for a $50-million portfolioof 37 strip centers encompassing 600,000 square feet of retail space. The properties are located in 17 states throughout the Southeast, West and Midwest, including Iowa, Colorado, Michigan, Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, Wisconsin and Indiana.
