LITTLE FALLS, NJ-The Planning Board here has given its preliminary approval on a report that reexamines its master plan and recommends it develop diverse housing and implement measures to retain its small town character.
The report was authored by township planner Jeffrey Janota, along with data gathered from a visioning survey of Little Ferry residents taken by the Passaic County Planning Department, a visioning questionnaire developed by the township itself, and a series of meetings with township officials, according to Passaic Valley Today.
"The vision involves the community retaining its character as a small town and at the same time continuing to thrive as an active community with diverse housing, ample recreation, a healthy environment and adequate infrastructure, while maintaining a positive economic climate," the report states.
